MAN DOWN

Man down is a stop motion film about a young man who goes to great effort to keep smiling in front of his friends so they’re unaware of him struggling with depression. The film shows a contrast between what he feels like on the inside and what is seen on the outside. The aim of this film was to raise awareness, and make people think and care more about others. There are many people we know that are struggling with depression, we may just not know about it. The reason behind the making of this film is losing a friend to suicide, and nearly losing another. With this film I want to inform how common this issue is in today’s society.
